You can take into account the respiration heat in the heat transfer equation (if you simulate the process with Fourrier and Fick equations) or in the heat balance (if you simulate the process) with macroscopic heat and mass balances. Yes. But if you know the respiration heat value at normal pressure (kJ/g O2 consumed), you can estimate the value at reduced pressure (assuming a first order respiration kinetic with respect to O2 partial pressure), and compare with the evaporation latent heat.
