Hello

I used to carbonate and strontium oxide to make an aluminum-strontium alloy. I added strontium carbonate powder to pure aluminum melt at a temperature of about 1000 degrees, in this method the amount of strontium melt was 0.0008 wt%, and in the second method, I added strontium oxide to aluminum-magnesium alloy at 880 degrees, the amount of molten strontium first reached It decreased to 0.03wt% and over time it decreased to 0.0005wt%.

What do you think is the reason for not recovering strontium in the melt and what is the solution to reach strontium aluminum alloy?

Thanks for your help
