I am working on uv curing of pad printed ink used in color contact lens. I am looking to find an optimum combination of photo initiator for Irgacure 819 and HPK 184 as the combination works better than single photo initiator system. I have two UV LED sources (365nm and 395nm). The intensity of the UV sources is 1000mW/cm2.

The polymer binder (also called as resin) used for color mixing is HEMA and MMA based, the polymer binder is made with 57% diluents and 43% monomers. The crosslinker used for adhesion of ink is HDI (hexamethylene diisocyanate) about 4%.

Currently I am looking to find an optimum combination of photo initiator combinations that could cure the ink within few seconds. I have tried some combinations but the curing time is higher than 2 minutes.

Thanks
