Our project involves the fabrication of resistive switching devices. We have used a metallization process to fabricate the aluminium top contacts of 200 nm. Would 200 nm be too thick for the purpose of top contacts? If so, which thickness would be optimum for top contacts? Thank you in advance.

Dear Kelvin,
120nm to 150nm would be better. Why not use silver instead of Aluminium? There are several advantages of using silver as an electrode contact. Firstly it is more conducting. It has less oxidation than Al. Finally it is also easier to do thermal evaporation.
