The best way known to disperse the MWCNTs within a solution(water) is by using chemical and physical techniques together (surfactant and sonic probe), but this method does not give me an encourage able result. In some case with the increase either the surfactant concentration or sonication time, the result had dropped down the control mix level.

With CNTs dispersions experiments, am using sonic probe device, its faster than sonic bath.

something similar happen to me. I want to introduce MWCNT on oil well cement slurry but i am not clear about the cement matrix dispersion metod, i have a MWCNT on water with a anionic surfactant, but im not sure if i need a sonication previously or another technical type to get a succesfull experimentation.
