Name of the species of this pennatula?
Feather sea pen, May be from Genus Virgularia, Order - Pennatulacea, Suborder - Subsessiliflorae.
Really it is wonderful.......thanks for sharing this pic. I can say sea pen at least....

Well, it is a beautiful Feather Sea Pen but neither shows affinity to Pennatula nor Virgularia.

BTW, 'feather sea pen' only applies to the name of this widely used photo.
Due to rod shaped 'leaves' and thin rachis I would suggest Virgularia sp.
