Suppose I have a coil placed above a conducting non magnetic plate, I run an AC current in the coil, and I want to know what is the mutual induction between the coil and the plate ?
Thank you in advance
Will you elaborate in detail?
Asking for which type of machine?
Dear Ravindrakumar Yadav
Thank you for your answer. Attached bellow is an image that I hope will clarify the problem.
To elaborate a little on the subject :
We know what is the mutual impedance between two coils (filament circuits)
It is given by the double integral on both coils.
However my question here is what is the mutual induction between a coil and a plate where the currents in the plate are volume currents.
Thank you in advance.
