Hi Harry,

WoRMS editors try to keep up with taxonomic and systematics changes, but this is of course not an easy task given the vast number of papers published every year. As for marine mollusks and echinoids, for example, the database is quite complete and perfectly reliable. Other groups may still require some more effort, but generally I can warmly recommend using WoRMS.
