Several types of fractional derivatives have been introduced in the literature, but the question here is which type of (local or non-local) fractional derivatives is the most suitable for modeling scenarios in Physics and Engineering? I would greatly appreciate you time if you could share your suggestion regarding the most recommended fractional derivative for modeling scenarios!!

It depends upon modelling, utilization, nature of solution, and physical condition of that thing which is to be modeled.
e.g. for numerical or discrete system Grünwald–Letnikov Derivative is more appropriate.
But over all Caputo sense derivative is userfriendly.
