Research Design
According to Sekaran (2003) a research design is set up to decide on, among other issues, how to collect further data, analyze and interpret them, and finally, to provide an answer to the problem.
Sekaran (2003) has identified six elements of research design. They are listed below.
1. Purpose of the study
2. Type of investigation
3. Extent of researcher interference
4. Study setting
5. Unit of analysis
6. The time horizon
Sekaran (2003) wrote:
“The researcher would determine the appropriate decisions to be made in the study design based on the problem definition, the research objectives, the extent of rigor desired, and cost considerations. Sometimes, because of the time and costs involved, a researcher might be constrained to settle for less than the ideal research design. For instance, the researcher might have to conduct a cross-sectional instead of a longitudinal study, do a field study rather than an experimental design, choose a smaller rather than a larger sample size, and so on, thus sub-optimizing the research design decisions and settling for a lower level of scientific rigor because of resource constraints."

In scholarly tradition, it has been maintained that the major role of research design is to consolidate the different parts of the inquiry in a logical and coherent fashion to tackle the research problem. It constitutes the plan for the measurement, analysis, and collection of data. Clearly, research problem determines the type of design, implying that also in this sense, an inquiry is problem-centric.
Diagnosing the Research Problem. All other activities in research are anchored on the proper identification and diagnosing of the Research Problem.
In the USA, it is funding! It determines its viability and acceptance. Otherwise, I like what Anuradha Iddagoda suggested.

Preparation of detail frame work of a research project with provision of all future facilities for performing the work is the toughest phase of a research project, I think.

The most important part of a research paper may vary from what someone else thinks. A research paper has several parts and each part is important to the paper and the research behind it. If you think about it, you may not be able to write a detailed research paper without each part, especially if you want to get a specific point across about your findings. Yet, many feel the introduction is the most important of all parts since it provides the main scope or idea for the research
Yes, I agree with almost of your answers. I believe each part of the research is as important as the other parts, often integrating each other, because at the end it all pour in the cup of knowledge.
Related Research or Literature Survey is the Most important part of any research because this only helps in identifying the Problem to be addressed by using suitable method.

I think all parts of the paper are significant, However the initial impression is given from abstract and the distinguishing attribute of work, which represent the value of it, is results obtained.

Really The research work has two most important parts:
1.) The new idea. (as Mr. Najib Abou Karaki has written).
2.) The Idea manifestation (‘Research Design’[Anuradha Iddagoda] + the ‘way’ (the work, the activity) which makes the new idea achieve its -an understandable form, available to the all members of society. (so in this case the result- as Hassan Rashed Yassein has mentioned- will be achieved.)

All parts are important but the title will attract other researchers to read your paper at first.
The purpose of the research, because I believe that the value of the research is measured by the goal of the search first and not necessarily from the results achieved.

One of the major challenges, and most difficult in the research work is to find a research topic that meets the researcher interest and capabilities as well as has a scientific and practical value. The second major challenge is based on the literature review with the objective to find a specific point that deserves your efforts, and time for enhancing, or solving, or constructing an important issue. The rest of the research process is somewhat systematical use of your background, and intelligence.
The most important part of the research work is the research worker himself, the scientist.
He has to be creative, enduring, holistic and very specialized thinking, precisely acting, ethical, cooperativ, able to work in a team, communicative, critical, ....

Dear Dr.Hassan Rashed Yassein, it depends on the personal preferences although there is a consensus the novelty of the research topic and the researcher's capabilities.
The most important part of of the research work are, in order, the following steps:
- choice of the problematic;
- literature Review;
- definition of the work objectives;
- statement of working hypotheses;
- definition of the working methodology;
- field work;
- experiments to verify observations in the field;
- interpretation of obtained results;
- identification, from the obtained results and their interpretation, of the prospects for future research.
Application oriented outcome of research work is a consequence of the research work itself and therefore can not constitute a part of research work.
Objectives and findings are the most important part in a research.

In general, the topic is the subject of your research. The topic will possibly be related to a research group you belong to or the interests of your orientation. Defining the theme is the most important part and will be on the cover of your project, guiding all development.

The most important part of the research work is the Result. The finding is very important and justifies the other parts. What's the purpose of Aim and Objective or Method of study if the work is barren of result. And what joy if one hits a new finding!

For me, the most important part is the data collection (methods), having identified a gap with well stated objectives. The results does not matter so long as the approach adopted is not faulty, we can reach conclusions. Aside that, publishing the results for action, redress, or problem solving is the second most important aspect.
In my humble opinion, writing a concise contents and perceptible in terms of problem statement for introduction section is the most difficult part of an article.
