Composite will be epoxy composite reinforced with micron size bamboo particles.
Fibres percentage will be 10 to 20 wt.%. Please note even adding 10% of bamboo makes the mixture highly viscous and it won't settle own its own. What if I use two parts mold but still I think it is very difficult to obtain a sheet of 0.5 mm thickness.

A simplest way to mold a very viscous mixture is to use a compression molding machine. Use a spacer to encase the sample so that the resin will not flow out. In case you do not have a compression molding machine and you only want to make one or few samples, treat glass surface with a mold release agent (extremely thin coating) and sandwich the resin with two plates. Add an appropriate weight on top of it. Of course, you need to use 0.5 mm spacer so that you can control the sample thickness. If the epoxy you used is a room temperature cure formulation, keeping it overnight is sufficient. If you have difficult time in taking out the glass place, put everything in warm water for a day or two and it will easily come out. Make sure you dry the sample well afterward.

In addition to the other answers I recommend using a 3-part mold. You can use 2 flat plates and 1 hollowed-out 0.5 mm thick frame plate. If the thickness is different in your experiments, you can change the thickness of the frame plate to give the appropriate result. You can use joiner's clamps or bolts to fasten the plates. When fastening, start in one direction and continue in the other. This helps to expel air bubbles.Redundant resin will leave the mold. Remember to use a non-stick surface such as a mold release agent.
