In our research we have been given a device that may be capable of computation. To determine if this is or is not the case we looked for what could be the logical primitive in the physical evidence. There appears to be a logical primitive that encodes amplitude and phase information from inputs. Does anyone know what model of computation we may have here? Thank you.
Additionally: we have thought of these encodings as vectors. Encodings appear to work under the 2-norm and generalize as unitary operators.
