My research area is to study the effect of higher blended biodiesel fuel with elastomer of the commercial fuel hose in the diesel engine vehicle (4WD). The fuel hose is actually an outlet of the fuel filter (before the injector) in the diesel engine vehicle. To fulfill the research objective, I need to design and develop a dynamic test rig (close system) that imitate the real condition of the fuel diesel engine vehicle and only focus on the low pressure part (before injector).
Thus, I need to know what is the minimum and maximum fuel flow rate in ml/min from the fuel tank through the fuel filter and returning back to the fuel tank since my focus is on the low pressure area in the diesel engine vehicle. How to calculate the fuel flow rate? Is there any reliable articles to support the justification.
