For heavy metals digestion in nitrating mixture then after proper dilution you can use Atomic absorption spctroscopy method or ICP MS

I know, that The National Health Institute inPragu, Czech Republic, measures human blood and urine directly. They used ETA-AAS (GF-AAS) and also F-AAS for more then 10 years, now they use ICP-MS. They uses surface reactant to prevent nebulizer clogging. Of course, the acid digestion mentioned can also be used.
