I performed the fluorescence intensity scan for two compounds (100 microgram/ml), that are dissolved in DMSO. The scan is showing relative fluorescence units within the range of 270 and 292 nm (attached file). There are two peaks at 282 nm and 292 nm (maximum RFU). How can I know about the absorption and emission spectrum, or at least about the corresponding wavelengths. I know that absorption and emission spectrum are shifted (Stokes shift). But here is the broad range spectrum only.

I would be thankful for suggestions and further reading.

Sincerely,

Naveen
