I request you to list some major factors or phenomenal difference between Stream bed erosion and soil erosion.
One of the main difference is the erosion agent- Soil erosion takes place because of wind action or rainfall & related surface runoff. Stream bed erosion takes place exclusively by stream action that too when the stream is in its young or mature stage of development.
The differences are clear from the governed equations of each of them. Universal Soil Loss Equation shows the parameters that affect the annual load of soil erosion. On the other hand, the well known equations used for the estimate of suspended and bed loads in streams/rivers include the parameters that affect there sediment quantity.

Stream bed erosion only erodes fluvial sediment with often a weak soil development in the stream channel, either active channel but also surounding holocene terraces in case of extreme floods. Principal erosion is due to floods resulting in collapse of the stream bank. Anthropogenic erosion occurs also when people extract material (sand, gravels) for construction purpose.
Consequentky, the phenomena can be brief but important in volume of eroded material at the plot scale.
Soil erosion occurs in all geomorphological position, on hillslopes, soil erosion is mainly due to surface runoff alone or link to anthropogenic practices like ploughing.
In arid areas, wind will have a big impact on the surface soil erosion.
Phenomena is more gradual, "every day" erosion but can represents big volume due to greater surface of erosion. In case of gullies development, erosion can be more severe and spectacular.
Generally, soil erosion depends on soil textures, organic matter content, soil covers (link with climate).
