Competition and Transformation.....How university can survive in this situation?

There is no strategy to transform somebody "from nothing". The only strategy is to treat somebody from the beginning as a somebody potentially extremely valuable. Any student, unless she\he definitely proves the opposite, should be treated as a capable, talented, responsible and simple interesting person.

Totally agree wirh Igor Gurkov. Approach that perceives inco.ing students as " nothing" is not a good one.
Totally agree with Igor. Maybe worth defining nothing to start with? then followed by something! The education median whether its universities, schools colleges etc. can offer the learning environment that facilitates learners to expand their knowledge and also offers guidance towards a developed knowledge/skill set. that said, the learner/student holds most of the responsibility in terms of what and how much to gain from that knowledge- "'You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink'"
