The impact of these new or less mature renewables grids is positive, because of it redundancy, this means you are (if you are an energy holding) going to be able to assure a system with higher reliability than nowadays non-renewables systems. On the other side, these renewables systems are meant to provide a balance to the grid in both aspects as much the generation as the consumption as well.
