I'm not sure if I've seen anything on leader personality on employee satisfaction. As far as examining personality and satisfaction on the construct level I'd refer you to Judge et al (2002) and Ilies & Judge (2003).
Judge and Long (2012) also wrote a review on the role of personality and individual differences in leadership, which may help you with hypothesis development.
