Is there any publication on the normal half life of let's say a forskolin or Gs dependent stimulation of HEK cells? How fast is the cAMP degraded?
I know that the microdomains are an issue and because of that it is probably a stupid question, but still. Perhaps somebody looked into this regarding PDE activity or so.

Thank you for this great article, Pablo. It was very helpful. It appears to me that my question was not precise enough.
I would be interested in the time course of bulk cAMP after a discrete forskolin challenge, forskolin being washed out after stimulation. HEK cells would be best but any cell line would help me too.
Apparently most of the researchers just leave the stimulatory substance on the cells.
Obviously I have to do it on my own anyway but it would be nice to know whether there is some lit on that for orientation.
