I need to find the reflectance value for different forest vegetation. I am using Resource SAT 2 LISS IV image. If there any formula available for converting DN value of pixel to the reflective value?
Since you have asked specific to R2 LISS IV image, my answer is following.
First compute Spectral radiance for kth band using formula: Radk = (DN*SRk)/1024. Here the SR denotes the Saturation Radiance. These value is for B2: 47.5614; B3: 45.6998; and B4: 31.5000. These values are in unit of (mW/(cm2-sr-um).
After this, you can apply the formula given in Step: 3 of doc sent by Ms. Aditi Sarkar.
To do this step, you need one more additional parameter ESUNfor each band. These values are again sensor specific. These values are 185.33 (B2), 157.77 (B3) and 111.36 (B4).
In case, you want to refer to these parameters to any back reference, please see the attached document sent herewith.

Hello Renato! I´m trying to use the approach of the attached paper. But it seems it is not possible to apply it on a straight way, like for example for the BAND2: 0.05394*BAND2+0.72438. The units are also different. Did you already solved this? I would be glad if you could share this with me. Thank you very much!
