Production of bio hydrogen from agri waste is a Gud idea but it requires a lot of efforts to be taken fr stream lined process. Articles nd theoretical study suggests only 30% yield using this technique. In short more imput is required fr less output .
But it you can try using anaerobic digestion through sequential production of biohydrogen nd biogas which I am sure has a very good output rate with less effort. Guess you can consider this as an option.
Anyways gasofication is a option worth trying nd all the very best for your future attempts bro

In principle, it is possible to produce bio-hydrogen from agricultural wastes through gasification. However, the process is problematic due to the physicochemical fuel properties of agrowastes, reactor limitations and low syngas yields. Other challenges specific to reactor selection are agglomeration, sintering and fouling.
In spite of these problems, several studies are still exploring ways to improve fuel properties (through pretreatment processes like pelletisation & torrefaction), design of more efficient reactors (through CFD, catalytic processes or bed materials) and the use of steam/oxygen as agents for gasification.
Lastly, the feasibility of a selected agrowaste for bio-hydrogen production can be assessed through kinetic, stoichiometric equilibrium or artificial neural networks modelling techniques. These models can estimate the syngas (H2, CH2, CO2, CH4, CO and hydrocarbon) yields, composition and reactor hydrodynamics from the gasification of any biomass.
