It seems there is a paradigm shift in power and politics today.

The power does not necessarily come through barrels and bullets. Power also comes through a 'cheque book'

It is no longer news that the world, for generations, has been influenced, some would say controlled by select groups who see themselves as “the chosen ones.” These groups believe they can shape global events, dictate the fate of nations, and engineer society according to their desires.

Some identify them as the Freemasons or global elites. While leadership is a natural and necessary part of human civilization, absolute power belongs to no one—except the Almighty.

In this brief reflection, I aim to highlight the emerging paradigm shift in global power dynamics. What we are witnessing is a growing contrast between the old philosophy of domination through military might, and a new philosophy built on economic influence, negotiation, and strategic partnerships.

Historically, the world has been shaped by powerful actors who often pursued their interests through war. They created and benefited from global conflicts—military invasions, regime changes, and political destabilization were their tools. This old model, often associated with the philosophies of the Freemason-aligned elites, has brought untold suffering to many parts of the world.

However, in recent years, a new wave of political ideology has begun to emerge, symbolized by unconventional figures like Donald Trump and Elon Musk—whom I humorously refer to as “Baba Olówó” (the man of great wealth). This new school of thought does not rely on war but on economic strength, diplomacy, and strategic influence.

For example, Trump, during his presidency, took several surprising steps—negotiating with traditional enemies like Iran, reducing direct military involvement in Syria, initiating peace talks across the Middle East, and even pushing for an end to the war in Ukraine. Whether one agrees with him or not, his strategy leaned more toward conflict resolution through economic and political leverage rather than outright war.

While no man is perfect, some actions can be considered the lesser evil. Like the venom of a snake—harmful, yes—but survivable if it bites the leg instead of the heart. The difference can mean life or death. In the same way, the shift from destructive global policies to more strategic engagement may not be pure, but it is arguably a better path.

The truth remains: the world is in need of sincere leadership. A messiah, if you will—someone or something that can save us from the hands of those driven by greed and unchecked ambition. Until that day comes, let us remain hopeful, prayerful, and active in doing our part to make this world a better place.
