I would be great and helpful if someone can answer this question and if possible provide the references: What will be the effect on directivity when one or two antenna elements in an antenna array transmits with different power?

This depends upon which element you are supplying more power e.g. If you give more power to center elements then the low side lobe levels will reduce(assuming the phase in each element is same), and the directivity will decrease. Similarly if you increase the power in elements lying on edge then the side lobe will increase. This is basic antenna array theory, you can shape the pattern by increasing power in some elements and reducing the same in others.
Nitin Kumar Thank you very for the answer. I agree with you that we can design the pattern based on the power supply to the antenna elements. However, common practice is to keep the power constant in each antenna element to form a beam in a direction. I would be great if you can provide some references. Thanks once again for providing the basic idea.
