If you are talking about autocorrelation if the input values: a higher value of correlation indicates a not-so-random input. That is: at points of high correlation values the values of the near future can be predicted from the values of the near past.
hello. i think higher correlation means that you have input data for DGs e.g. solar irradiance and wind speed for 24 hours. Higher correlation is that irradiance in hour 6AM does not happen in the same time with wind speed in exact 6AM. In other word, they are not independent.
