You may dissolve a few wt.% of some organometallic compounds such as ferrocene or cobaltocene in a benzene derivative and use that as your liquid precursor to grow MWCNTs. I have a couple of articles on that which you may want to take a look.

In this work. I explored 15 different hydrocarbons that can be used with ferrocene to serve as liquid precursors for synthesis of CNTs. Hope it helps.

Those papers are very helpful. But my main concern is the catalyst fllm preparation using sol-gel process (spin coating etc)
