You may dissolve a few wt.% of some organometallic compounds such as ferrocene or cobaltocene in a benzene derivative and use that as your liquid precursor to grow MWCNTs. I have a couple of articles on that which you may want to take a look.

In this work. I explored 15 different hydrocarbons that can be used with ferrocene to serve as liquid precursors for synthesis of CNTs. Hope it helps.
