I was wondering if there is an esasiest method to extract essential oils from dry leaves?

My experience shows that it is unproductive to fiddle with DRY leaves. During the drying process, many volatile components are lost irrevocably, and the residue obtained by steam distillation, as GC-MS shows, consists mainly of high-boiling components. For example, from 1 kg of dry sea buckthorn leaves I received only 200 mg of the mixture
Hydrodistillation using Clevenger apparatus or microwave extraction if you can have fresh leaves of your plant.
Hydrodistillation. Cover Your biomass with water, let it boil, condense the steam, separate the liquid layers. Dependent on oil type it will form an upper layer or a layer under the condensed water.
