Literature review is an overview of the literature in the scientific/ research field— covering findings of the previous researchers, analysis/ comparison of findings of different researchers, current status of research and future directions of work in such a field. Some reviews may cite as many as a thousand references of published research papers. On the other hand, literature survey may be a summarized version of the comprehensive review of the literature. It is generally much shorter in length, and will not cite exhaustive list of references of published research papers in the field. Literature review is much more extensive than a literature survey.

Literature review is made for research field in one or other spheres of action (scientific, culturel, technique, commercial…) - it is an overview of published papers.
Literature survey is more personal point of view - for ex.,
Survey about info & publicity orchid’s expositions:
« What like the public ? the books or CD ?».
Generally, they have the same meaning. But the Literature review is to give a detailed study on the scientific works that was done previously in a well-specified subject (the paper that gives this study is called article review). The Literature survey is to give a summary study on the previous scientific work, this study is often given in research-type articles.
Publication of literature in the world in various areas by eminent writers ,eminent novelist ,eminent poets also eminent person of Art,Music,Painting , have placed before us the encyclopedia where by every body can take the advantage of the liking areas were by they can certainly gain the knowledge whereby they can feel that Knowledge is power .
In the world we have viewed that we have totality of literature under the an encyclopedia covering various areas &i it be in different language thereby it is also necessary that good such literature of different language from different companies come & to translate int he popular language so that it can help to know the views of different authors which may also establish a link among the countries.
Literature review in above line offers an important service to the knowledgeable person of the world .
