Land evaluation: land assessment and may be physical and/or human depending on selected criteria.
Land Allocation: The selection and apportioning of land (parcels) for specific use or to be conserved or preserved.
Land use: the actual use to which land is put.
Land cover: the materials that overlay any given piece of land, may be grasses, impervious materials, or soil fractions.
