In contrast, a flowchart is a detailed visual representation of a step-by-step process, breaking down activities into specific actions and decisions. Block diagrams focus on system structure, while flowcharts emphasize the detailed flow of control or data in a process. The choice between them depends on the level of detail and the specific information required for communication or analysis.

-Flow charts help to show the sequence of steps in a process or work structure. The sequence of steps is clearly specified. and can be used to clearly explain and show the relationship between various steps.
It is easy to get confused between these two terms, I would like to share my simple definition for them... The Block Diagram is focusing solely on the system structure, it shows system, subsystem, and elements, while the flow diagram model/simulate the system/ subsystem/ elements behaviors and functions.
