Is there any mathematical relation between the absorbed dose in a RCF and its area, thickness and mass? Are there any other factors as well which affect the amount of dose absorbed?
I dont see any analogy between radiochromic films and lens. A lens is an optical device which is used to focus or disperse a beam of light whereas, radiochromic film is a radiation dosimeter which changes color when exposed to high energy radiations. My question is about the relation between the absorbed dose and mass, thickness and area of a radiochromic film.
The reason I have suggested a lens because sometimes we make a beam splitter, an optical filter, a polarizer, a mirror, a reflector, a defractor and so on from a partially coated lens.
I would appreciate it to know an answer to your question if you find out on
