The question is formulated in general terms, so it is rather difficult to give advice. However, the most important for any training program is to transform the people from audience (i.e. teachers) into active participants so that learning is not a result only of the knowledge transfer process, but also of a learning by doing process. Also, it is important to distinguish between knowledge transfer and thinking skills development. Innovations should be focused on activities that can contribute to skills development.
