What is the cause of pink color in testing the production of auxin by bacteria?

In the assessment of the production of auxin by PGP bacteria, after pouring Salkovsky's reagent, pink color is produced, what is the cause?

The color change apparently indicating the production of IAA by PGPB. But, for quantitative estimation, you must go for spectrometer analysis with IAA standards calibration curve. The IAA intensity is related with change of color (Yellow-Pink-Red), but only color change is not the indicator of IAA production (color also be originated from bacterial pigments). For more clarification you need to LC-MS analysis.
