This may be a subject to position and the institution's requirements and expectations. Having relevant academic, research and professional dossier well documented with proper letter of intend would be a good start. However, one should appreciate the importance of the role and be quite honest while making decision to apply for the job. As Director Candidate is expected to serve and represent the Faculty, Department, Faculty, University in the most professional and ethical manner.
