I think you should go for putting web cameras in the shed and do the observation analysis manual. Otherwise, if the funds are available, you can purchase "NOLDUS The Observer XT" which can yield you more insight into your observations. However, in any of the cases you have to devote a lot of time as non of them is of automatic in nature.

thanks i have already made a request for it. Like you said it is so costly. Maybe i will opt for manual observation with the use of cameras..
