I support research faculty in our school. I edit proposals and help write certain sections. However, I often wonder what else I could do, or what method of delivery would be best?  Currently, I work one-on-one with teams as the need arises. Unfortunately, often I don't get materials from principal investigators in time to do a thorough edit. I invite researchers to share with me the best support they have received in proposal development and writing: How did you receive that support? In what setting? Was it institutional support, or did you hire someone? Add any details you can. I also invite researchers to imagine a perfect world for writing and submitting proposals to federal and other funding agencies and describe for me what type of proposal writing support that perfect world would entail. Thank you!
