I need a thin layer of polymer that can pass through the H2S gas but doesn't pass through H2O gas.
The theory claims that gas mixtures in a Knudsen flow move independently of each other. The ratio of the flows of the separated gases will determine the separation coefficient, which is equal to the square root of the ratio of the molar masses of the gases. There can be no membranes that let water vapor pass and hydrogen sulfide vapor do not pass.
Co-extruding a thin layer of ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) in a linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) geomembrane dramatically reduces the permeability to a wide range of gases and volatile organic carbon molecules including: methane, ammonia, carbon dioxide, oxygen, aromatic hydrocarbons, aliphatic hydrocarbons, methyl bromide and most odorous compounds.

Limitation:
EVOH is a crystalline polymer and is not elastic. It is flexible but should not be used as part of an elastomeric structure.

EVOH can be a good option. Also consider the possibilities of electrospinning to enhance permeability (worth exploring).
