My area is in a valley which is 1500 masl and we get vegetables from the highland which is 2500 masl. The direct road is not there so people have to climb the hill which is a tedious excercise.
You need to ask someone locally with the knowhow to visit the site, estimate the cost and build the cable way for you. Most of the materials can be sourced locally for someone who knows what needs to be done.
Thank you Ajani. Roads are there but they are mooram roads. These roads go winding a lot and therefore takes a long time. Due to the nature of the road many vehicles avoid them.
Maybe, it is better you grow root vegetables. These kinds of vegetables have long time lifestyle. Thus, they can transfer at long time distances, or you should harvest your plants before compeletly rippen.
Look at your local area climate, soil analysis larotary. Potato grows in area with cold winter, spring and summer mild weather. Sandy loam, high fertility with high soil depth are suitable.
Water, is one of the most important factors.
You should accomodate factors like this for any plant you want to grow.
