I am going to produce biochar from organic materials in large-scale. But I am not familiar with the methods and procedures of biochar production.
For this goal, what devices and instruments are needed?

you can find some information about the synthesis of biochar at the follwing paper : DOI: 10.1016/j.jece.2014.09.001. However, for a large scale production, you may need to creat a system that has a direct heating source with the indirect one from the reheating of the exhausted gases during biochar synthesis.In addetion, There are many videos on youtube explore synthesis of biochar by a simple method in the field, but one should pay more attention for xygen(it is a pyrolisis process) the key factor is preventing oxygen during the synthesis

The process of making biochar is called “pyrolysis.” Pyrolysis offers an efficient and sustainable means of generating energy from biomass while simultaneously sequestering carbon from the atmosphere in the form of biochar. Care must be taken, however, to ensure that the harvesting, transport, pretreatment, production, post-treatment and application processes are accounted for and do not emit more carbon than is captured by transforming the biomass into biochar.
