A great number of EMS missions in which the dispatcher send an ambulance for an unnecessary or a not emergent case, origins from the fear of him/her of legal issues. Dispatch personnel declare that they do not have the necessary support from the system.

Mohammad, My NHS Trust has developed a higher education module in collaboration with the University of the West of England. It is provided at degree and masters levels and is called 'Remote Clinical Decision-Making'. This is a complex subject with many variables. Key issues are clinical experience and skills.
