Milia seems to be of a concern in some parents who seem to excessively react to the milia. How does one manage the case giving utmost care and support?
very difficult question because the child will not be quiet to let the doctor extract the sebum ..
indeed it´s really overreaction from the parents... I uso to prescribe some topic retinoic acid formula ( not strong of course, like for example: retinoic acid 0,01% at night over the milia ) and tell the parents not to worry about the lesions
it will go away as it appeared in first place, no treatment is really required. Give it some time and if it doesn't settle in a month then come back for topical medication
