I think Text Book of Hydrometallurgy by Professor Fathi Habashi is one the best books for amateurs. And Hydrometallurgy: Fundamentals and Applications (By Professor Free) is good choice for more detailed information.

I also believe that the book entitled Hydrometallurgy: Fundamentals and Applications is the best choice.

I recommend Hydrometallurgy: Principles and application by Professor Tomas Havlik!
