I know many methods of the controllers design for linear and nonlinear Systems. But recently, I've read many journal papers and references on the concept of finite-time control. Many researchers used this concept in many design techniques, like LMIs robust control, Feedback linearization,..... etc. what is the basic steps to take in my design that makes my controller a finite-time controller?
