Does anybody have information about the cost of the Biomass Boiler as a function of its output thermal heat capacity? I am looking for a small scale unit (producing up to 100-120kW thermal). Also, what is the average biomass fuel cost (woodchips, wood pellets, logs or agricultural materials such as straw). It is known that the cost might depend on the location to be built in, fuel to be used, boiler type and some other factors, however information about any biomass boiler may help in regard with my question.
Supported materials will be appreciated (articles, research, official reports or providers' webpages....)

Such a boiler (prototype) burning straw costs in Romania about 18000-20000 Euro. The cost of the biomass as fuel is 50 Euro/t for energy willow and for straw briquettes is 70 Euro/t.

The boiler has 150 MWth and you can see bellow a video about it. As I previously wrote, it is a prototype, fully automatized.

It depend on county, region ....make and quality of the material used, safety and other issues.
Similarly biomass material is available from free to very reasonable price varying from place to place and country to country.....
So you better see in the country and region you belong to?

Thank you for your comments. Yes, I agree with you as I mentioned that in my question of the dependency on the location, boiler type, specifications and so other factors. However, the purchase cost from any supplier is useful to my work without any additional cost of transport or installation....etc. Once I get some different prices for different types, the decision will be easier. Do you suggest any details regarding the price for specific unit(s)?
