The findings indicated that these schools should have electronic contents for all courses, high speed networks, Internet lines, computers, printers and other related equipments to become complete smart schools. The framework provided a set of guidelines in terms of smart school components in a structured way, which can assist the Ministry of Education and top-level policy makers to improve current activities of toward smart schools .
Besides, the research also contributes towards the expansion of theory and knowledge of smart school which could benefit to other developing countries
The smart learning process extends partly to tablets, computers, digital tablets, display tools, social media, and other information and communication technologies with the purpose of: Provides direct access to educational content using smart interactive whiteboards Providing an interactive experience for students with communication media and modern technologies, preparing ways for them to enjoy new learning activities, and increasing learning opportunities, due to the ability it provides for them to learn and discover in the school environment. Provide the necessary support and guidance from teachers to their learners by communicating with students to provide immediate feedback required by the transition to a task or experience
A success factor will be the organizational core competencies and the culture of institutionalization. The technology must be well managed and acceptable by the stakeholders.
Still much has to be done in this matter, but universities are becoming smart institutions. The Covid 19 contributed to the acceleration of this process through the implementation of remote teaching and learning, remote meetings and in my case even remote assessment of students (presentations, tests, exams). Nothing of this would have been possible without technology. There are two trends which are transversal to the whole higher education systems: one is technology, the other is sustainability, in a way that they complement each other. Assess to electronic resources, such as all bibliographic resources you need for your research is also crucial. No more paper, no need to go to libraries, in most cases no need to be physically somewhere to work. You are always connected, can work anywhere, so you save time, you save the environment and increase productivity. In time of Covid 19, it is through technology that so many people have contact with the outside world and “see” friends and colleagues. Hopefully, the human face to face interaction, which is so important in the social life, will continue after Covid 19.
