Polymer concrete is a concrete having a polymeric binder inside, rather than a hydrated gel (CSH) like ordinary concrete. The binder in the polymer concrete are similar in structure (chain of monomers). Its been established that the polymeric concrete is superior than the OPC concrete in every perceptive, from strength to aesthetic point of view and from sustainability to durability. The most common and promising polymer concrete is geopolymer concrete, the geopolymer concrete is the concrete which have the binder as polymers of alumina and silica bonded with oxygen. The major components of geopolymer concrete are- Source materials and alkaline liquids apart from the concrete's basic ingredients (i.e- fine and coarse aggregates).
