The condition that distinguishes animals and plants from inorganic matter, including the capacity for growth, reproduction, functional activity, and continual change preceding death. The thinking power, interpreting, applying the knowledge, developing the new products and processes, technologies and so on using the intellect. the ethics, etiquette and so on. This is physical and societal aspect of life.

This all is done through something inside the animals, especially humans, the atma, Rooh, life, mind what inspires us to do something good or bad.

If the brain is dead, the body can still be alive but bad do the biological functions but cannot do the physical functions.

So this atma, rooh, life or mind is located in the brain or is elsewhere in the body or outside the body? Is there anybody who controls the life?

Is there life after death i.e. rebirth? Then what, how and where it is? Hormones control the growth and development of the body, but what controls the hormones? Do they have any relation to life? How do we go about looking for it?
