Cloud computing is the on-demand availability of computer system resources, especially data storage (cloud storage) and computing power, without direct active management by the user. The term is generally used to describe data centers available to many users over the Internet.

IaaS means: Infrastructure as a Service; As an IaaS, a provider offers customers access to storage, network components, servers and other IT resources in the cloud.

IaaS stands for Infrastructure as a Service. The underlying hardware is manages as a service and the client manages the the amount of hardware resources required (eg Number of Cores and RAM) also called pooling and manage the Operating System and applications. Blockchain can be ustilised in conjuction with cloud services in the form of the Hyperledger model where some company such as IBM and Honeywell use as Intranets and contracts. These methods have lead to a new term starting to be used called Cloud as a Service (CaaS).
IaaS is available in most cloud providers but only a few provide blockchain as a service, which is, IMHO, the most secure way of providing Blockchain on IaaS.
