In Western Himalaya, at three different elevation the agroforestry sites exits. What sort of GIS methodology is best suited for mapping the tree-crop biodiversity along the altitude and aspects? The sites extends about to 1000 km2.
Methodology is given in my research paper which is available on Research Gate

Rooted in the science of geography, GIS integrates many types of data, analyzes spatial location and organizes layers of information into visualizations using maps and 3D scenes and reveals deeper insights into data, such as patterns, relationships, and situations—helping users make smarter decisions.
You can refer to papers published by my friend Dr. RH Rizvi working at CAFRI Jhansi for the exact methodology. e.g., Range Management & Agroforestry 38(2): 254-258.
