Ergodic is related to wireless channel state information and somewhat related to time. Can anyone mention the definition of it and its mathematical expression?
When Channel state information (CSI) is not available at transmitter then transmitted data experienced fading then effective channel capacity is reduced.
ergodic channel capacity is
C=E{B log2(1+SNR)} where E belong to expectation w.r to SNR.
Ergodic capacity is related to channel capacity. it is same as Shanon channel capacity. It is the average capacity of the channel (irrespective of deep fading or slow fading)
the channel capacity is
C=B log2(1+SNR)
